OUR STORY

Local Cattle Ranch Operation

We're a local, family ran cattle ranch located in Oakdale, California. We started out just finishing our own beef for our family and close friends because we wanted a healthier, better quality beef than store bought. Well, friends told their friends and family and it grew from there! Our main goal is to provide families with the highest quality, locally raised beef at a fair price.

ABOUT COOK CATTLE CO.

We are Dillon, Chelsea, Brantley and Indiana Cook who run Cook Cattle. Dillon along with his wife and kids operate the cattle ranch. Dillon has been raised around beef cattle operations for most of his life and is very blessed to be able to continue with this way of life today. We enjoy raising beef cattle as a family and being able to raise our son and daughter in this lifestyle that brings us together in our community and gives them a foundation to grow from. On the weekends, you can find my family and I out in the pastures, feeding and working cattle.

 

It started as a hobby and has quickly grown into something that allows us to provide quality beef to families in our community and surrounding areas, while also giving us a chance to do something we love. We strive to raise the best quality meat that you can buy at an affordable price.

We raise angus cattle that is grass-fed, grain-finished or 100% grass-fed, grass-finished, for those customers who prefer a leaner meat. We use a mobile CDFA-approved slaughterer who comes on-site to provide a safe, humane, and sanitary experience from start to finish. From there, our beef is delivered to a local CDFA/USDA-approved butcher, who will take your custom cut and wrap instructions for your meat and let you know when it is ready to be picked up.
